Riyadh-based Gamers8 Festival has just announced it will feature a Rainbow Six Siege tournament with a a $2 million prize pool.
This now brings the summer gaming festival's prize pool for games revealed so far to $22.5m, which is half of the total $45m announced.
To date, the event has revealed the following:

The tournament will feature eight teams in total, with four teams being invited directly to Gamers8 and the remaining four qualifying through Gamers Without Borders, the world's largest esports charity event.
The Gamers8 tournament will include group stages and a playoff, running from July 13 to July 16 in Riyadh.
The Gamers Without Borders qualifiers from May 11 to May 14 and include teams from EU, NA, LATAM & KR/JP. This will also include a $2.5 million charity prize pool for humanitarian aid.
It comes as little surprise that Rainbow Six has been included at Gamers8, given the huge popularity of the Ubisoft title in the region.
The R6 MENA league is currently taking place in the road to the BLAST R6 Major, with the matches being broadcast live from Abu Dhabi's first esports studio.
